Needing to catch up on this epic EK in my hometown post! A day or 2 after Erin returned back to the bay, Eric arrived in SD from hothot Austin. It was so wonderful to share all things San Diego and show him around!! As soon as I picked him up from the airport, we had lunch at El Zarape--our favorite; we probably are there close to 10 times in the week he was there! Of course, we gorged ourselves on
California burritos as much as we could handle.

The weather was so PERFECT. We lounged on the beach, went to the San Diego Zoo, Disneyland, Torrey Pine State Reserve, Balboa Park, visited dear friends and their families, and met up w my family (Eric met my moms and bro for the first time)!

After a few days in the bay area, Erin and I headed to our hometown. We stayed with an old friend and his beautiful family. His daughter shared her bedroom with us and she was the most darling little roommate. I already miss them.

I've been on an epic California vacation and here are some pics from the first leg of the trip in my beloved bay area. I stayed with my BFF and her gentleman friend in Oakland. From there, we adventured into Berkeley, the city, and a 10-mike hike in Pt. Reyes. It's been so wonderful seeing friends and visiting places so dear to me!
